Step 1 Download the following and select of plan
Step 1 is the starting point of maintaining a healthy weight. Since everyone’s protein and calorie counts vary, it’s important to seek a customized approach. This Meal Plan Selection Download will show a graph separated for Men and Women. Simply find your height, weight and the cross path for your specific color. This will determine the suggested meal plan for you and will match your individual needs for protein and calories in Step 2.
The Key is: The Meal Plan Selection Color is a guide to the recommended Meal Plan based on your gender, weight, and height. Once you know which plan is recommended for you, you’ll go to Step 2 to see your suggested plan.
Step 2 Match Meal Color with Meal Plan
In Step 2 we’ll Follow these suggested meals plans. Depending on your activity level, hunger level, and weight goals, you may need to adjust your plan. It’s arranged in 4 simple-to-follow programs. Each program in this step is to provide an overview of daily consumption to a more comfortable level of weight. Once you know which plan is best suited for you, you’ll notice that each plan has three options: Daily Nutrition, Weight Loss and Weight Gain. Choose the option within the plan that best suits your personal goals.
The Step 2 Meal Plan chart shows you what a typical day will look like. You can see the recommended Formula 1 meal replacement shakes, meals and snacks you will choose each day, depending on your plan.
- Your Personalized daily Meal Plans are created from items from the following categories:
- Herbalife®Formula 1 Shakes (20-30 grams protein, 90-180 calories each)
- Balanced Meals (25-40 grams protein, 400-600 calories, depending on your plan)
Protein Snacks (10-30 grams protein, 150-300 calories, depending on your plan)
Each plan will vary on a daily basis as to if you’re going to maintain, lose or gain weight. The idea is to purposely manage all three for complete control over your weight.
Maintain Your Weight
On a maintain your weight day, follow the Daily Nutrition option of your recommended Meal Plan. This option will deliver the recommended amount of protein and a maximum number of calories to help you maintain your weight, keep in mind that this is coupled with an appropriate exercise program. This option replaces one meal per day (typically breakfast) with a Herbalife® Formula 1 shake.
Weight Loss
On a weight loss day, follow the Weight Loss option of your recommended meal plan. The Weight Loss option will deliver the recommended amount of protein, but with fewer calories, to promote weight and, more importantly, fat loss. Again, this program is coupled with an appropriate exercise program. This option replaces two meals per day (typically lunch and dinner) with a Herbalife® Formula 1 shake.
Gain Weight
On again weight day, follow the Weight Gain option of your recommended meal plan. The Weight Gain option will deliver more protein and calories which, when coupled with an appropriate exercise program, will help you to gain healthy weight (as lean body mass). In the Weight Gain option, you will supplement the Daily Nutrition plan with additional Herbalife® Formula 1 shakes, up to a total of three shakes per day.
Step 3 Meal Plan Option Builder
In Step 3 is to download the meal builder and use the 5 steps it includes to support eating well every day. Simply follow the step-by-step meal builder to design meals based on the foods you like to eat. By doing this, you’ll like the diet you’re on and adhere to it. This will greatly increase your chances of success!
Meals in this part are made up of foods from five categories: Protein, Vegetables, Healthy Carbohydrates, Healthy Fats and Seasonings.
Depending on your Meal Plan, you will create meals that have either:
- Approximately 25 grams of protein and 400 calories
- Approximately 40 grams of protein and 600 calories
Once you equate for your protein needs then you can calculate your allowance of fats and carbohydrates.
Start at step 1 – start with protein and move down to veggies and step 3, 4 & 5. By doing this, you can easily select the right amount of protein, vegetables, healthy carbohydrates, and healthy fats, which you will use to create your healthy meals.
